Forest EcoBusiness is an effort of the Center for the Competitiveness for EcoBusiness (CeCoEco) at the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE), in partnership with the International Bank of International Development (BID-FOMIN -ITC4BUS), and the Institute for the Connectivity of the Americas (ICA). CeCoEco is involved in the development of the businesses of small producers in niche markets in the forest and agricultural sector. The interdisciplinary team of CeCoEco provides technical assistance, research, and training related to business organization, the identification of best uses of raw materials, and legal/political analysis to aid in business development. Our services are tailored for CEOs and entrepreneurs, or co-ops in the process of organizing themselves. At the same time, we help improve communication between small producers and the Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and state agencies trying to aid them.
We invite you to visit our website dedicated to the Forest sector and its markets: Forest EcoBusiness (Link) . There you will find tools and services such as online business, market information, and methodologies and tools for business development.
